Others 2013 soil, daisies |
Others was part of the exhibition Geschwister at the Galerie Hinterland in Vienna, summer 2013. I mold-formed these small embryos using soil from my parents back yard. Into the small bodies I planted seeds of daisies, which would grow during the exhibition. In mythology daisies are the first messengers of spring, a symbol for innocence, growth and long lasting beauty.
