La meraviglia is a collection of wondrous things I created, each representing a certain aspect of life. I am interested in strangeness, and the fact that the familiar is a matter of perception and concentration. Taking things out of their context and purpose, like exotica in the early Wunderkammern, and using the visual gravity of matter can create a moment of surprise and trigger curiosity and deeper interest in our unique being, For me this is the strongest quality of art.
